Fifthly, it has a strong resistance to environmental stress, small deformation during stress enhancement, and a small temperature deformation coefficient in the range of -20°C to 120°C. 


Finally, geogrids are generally 4-6 meters wide, light in weight, easy to install, efficient, and economical.


Problems to be noted during the construction of geogrids


Firstly, when storing and laying, prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided, otherwise, performance degradation is likely to occur. When laid in the vertical direction, it should be lapped according to the construction drawings and must be firmly connected. 


Secondly, the construction quality must meet the construction requirements as stipulated in the design and construction drawings. During the construction process, no wrinkling, overlapping, or twisting should occur, and the tension of the geogrid needs to be maintained so that it is evenly stressed, and if it is manually stretched, it must be placed close to the ground, the force must be evenly applied and the surface must be flat, in addition, nails need to be used to hold the geogrid in place to avoid displacement.
