Bentonite waterproof liners, known as GCLs (Geosynthetic Clay Liners), represent an innovative class of geosynthetic materials. Constructed by encapsulating natural sodium bentonite particles between two layers of geotextile fabric through a specialized process, these liners transform into a highly effective waterproofing blanket. They retain all the beneficial attributes of geotechnical materials while also exhibiting superior water barrier capabilities
It has excellent water swelling property and strong compactness;
Durable waterproof performance, green environmental protection;
4000g/m2 - 6000g/m2
2m-5.8m in roll width, the length as clients' request.

1. *Bentonite Quality Assurance**: Before dispatch to INNO GCL's manufacturing plants, thorough property tests are conducted on the bentonite at the processing site to ensure quality standards.
2. *Bentonite Density Specification**: The bentonite's mass per unit area is determined at a zero percent moisture level to provide an accurate baseline for material density.
3. *Strength Testing Protocols**: Tensile strength assessments are conducted in line with the machine direction, adhering to the ASTM D 6768 standard. Peel strength is evaluated according to ASTM D 6496. Optionally, results can be presented according to the adapted ASTM D 4632, utilizing 4-inch grips, based on customer requests.
4. *Flux and Permeability Evaluation**: Tests are carried out using deaired distilled or deionized water under specific pressure conditions: 80 psi (551kPa) for cell pressure, 77 psi (531 kPa) for headwater pressure, and 75 psi (517 kPa) for tailwater pressure. The reported flux rate is comparable to 925 gallons per acre per day, translating to a permeability of 5x10^-9 cm/sec for the standard thickness of a GCL. It's important to note that actual flux rates can fluctuate with varying field pressure conditions. Upon request, the last 20 weekly flux measurements leading up to the production date of the supplied GCL can be supplied.
5. *Strength Verification under Hydration**: Peak strength measurements are taken at a normal stress of 200 psf (10 kPa) on specimens that have been hydrated for a period of 48 hours. To ensure the reliability of the design, it is essential to use site-specific materials, GCL products, and testing conditions to confirm the internal and interface strength characteristics.
